I recently spent a month working and running in Kenya. It was difficult and wonderful, and eye-opening, at least as it relates to the running culture in Kenya. The spirit and drive they give to running are unlike anything I've seen anywhere in the world. It is their thing, for sure. I also took my 17-year-old with me, and I'm glad he got to see and experience the Kenyans' raw, almost singular mindset
