I woke up one Saturday morning its chilly with a high of 50 degrees in Greenbelt I'm laying next to my husband, its September so its finally autumn my favorite time of year! I can hear my cat purring while she’s laying next to me, then as I awaken more I can feel my husbands warm breathe on my neck while he’s sleeping so peacefully, I look over to my right more and I can see our scentsy wax warmers warm comfort light which means it smells like the apple pie wax melts I put in there the night before. As I get out of bed letting my husband sleep in, I think to myself what I want to eat this morning as I do that I feed our cat Lily and brush my hair then I get the perfect idea we can go to Barnes and Noble (my favorite book store), get a coffee at the Starbucks inside and get a bakery item, my favorite way to spend a day in autumn. After brushing my hair I look over and see Lily rubbing on her daddy’s face to wake him up as we awakens he doesn’t feel me in bed so he asked Lily “where’s your mommy” she points her face over by our vanity and he says “there is my beautiful wife with her hazel eyes and long brown hair” I look over at him and blushing while smiling ear to ear as he gets out of bed with Lily he asks me what I want for breakfast so I do my cute face at him and say “maybe we can go to the big Barnes and Nobles with the Starbucks inside” he smiles at me says “get ready for our day at Barnes” as he rubs my face with his rough hand so I squeal like a little girl happy as ever. Running over to the closet to pick out my clothes for the day Ive decided to wear a maroon sweater, leggings, ruffle socks and my brown Birkenstocks, I go to the bathroom to curl my hair that freshly smells like apple from my shampoo and conditioner after that I walk over to my vanity in our room to do my makeup while he's sitting on the bed wearing his usual jeans, sweatshirt and his dirty brown boots that I fell in love with the year prior. We start to walk to the door to leave when Lily meows at us I tell her “we will be back in a little bit, be a good girl” while I go down to rub on her soft fur, he opens the apartment door for me like usual and we walk over to his white car he smacks my butt and opens the car door for me I sit down in the passenger seat and smile while hes buckling me in the car. He gets in the driver side and gives me his phone so I can put on music, of course I put on a Halloween playlist I found on Spofity! He start the car, I’m looking out the window seeing all of the leaves change colors so happy inside while I catch my handsome husband looking over at me at a red light he leans over to kiss me while we smile into the kiss I love riding in the car with him, I always feel so safe with him. We finally made it to Barnes and Noble, I squeal like a little girl so excited he comes around the car and opens my door I run out he laughs at me since he knows how excited I get he opens the big doors and all I hear in my mind is angels singing we hold hands and talk about what we want to drink, he gets a plain black coffee like usual while I get a hot tea, a “medicine ball” of course my favorite tea from there I love how it tastes, so warm and soothing I love how the flavors come together I also got a apple fritter. We walk around Barnes with our hot drinks, he’s looking at his favorite genre which is historical he picks out two books about wars now we head over to the thrillers my favorite, I finally the book I’ve been wanting to read I'm so excited. We go to checkout and it was another success at Barnes with my favorite person and favorite weather.
