A Shepherd's Heart

A Sonnet Dedicated to Pastor Michael Sullivan

Upon his sleeve, his heart is worn with grace,

A gentle soul whose kindness knows no end;

With love for God reflected in his face,

A shepherd, father, husband, and a friend.

He speaks of faith with warmth that lights the way,

And lifts the weary spirit through the night;

He teaches us to kneel, to trust, to pray,

And place our Lord above all earthly might.

His family knows the tenderness he brings,

His flock receives the wisdom of his care;

Yet God remains the King of earthly kings,

Whose love he teaches all of us to share.

And through his words, one truth shall ever shine:

Put God before all else, and walk divine.

Written in gratitude for a life of faith, love, and service.
