I'm not quite sure where we stand. You told me it was just the wrong time for us. You told me that someday we could try again, but I was dying inside knowing you were the wrong person. Before that I was all in, ready for the challenges of love and still, you broke me. My heart was presented to you on a silver platter waiting to be taken care of. You have it just enough to long for more, then you threw it on the floor and watched it shatter. You stomped on the pieces. I wanted to scream, wanted to blame you for how I was hurting. I wanted to hurt you for using me. I wish I had done all of those things, wish I was able to get revenge for what you did to me. Still, even after all you did, part of me still loves you. I wish I hated you instead.
