This poem/sonnet is about the love and importance of roses, and how they're known as the ultimate symbolic motifs in famous fairy tales that we have heard, read and seen in various forms.

This short story is one of my most unique works. This is a backstory for supporting characters of my online Wattpad novel, The Mystical Dreamcatcher. The story is about the Moirai sisters aka the Goddesses of Fates from Greek Mythology, and how they're living in the post - mdoern era in Brooklyn, NYC. We have all seen different versions of the Goddesses of Fates in various Greek stories, and also movies and series such as Disney's Hercules animated film and DC's the Sandman series on Netflix, Blood of Zeus animated series (also by Netflix), and they were often represented as evil characters. However, in this story, they almost have that kind of element, but they're actually on the good side. When you read this story, you'll find out for yourself, give it a try.

A person in an abandoned hospital hears their own name and realizes something is mimicking their voice. They then see a smiling double of themselves and understand the truth: the copy has escaped, and they are the one now trapped in the dark place.

A young writer tries to find her voice in the midst of being haunted by her own self-criticisms as she thought she could change the world someday but doubts every word she writes but when somebody she once knew comes back in her life, even just for a few moments, her perspective starts to change and she finally starts to realize her true potential and what can offer to the world. Guided by love and courage, she learns to push past the anxiety and perfectionism and rediscover what inspired her to write in the first place.

What does it mean to have an unwanted guest in someone's life and all they want to do is get rid of them but can't? The invisible chaos, the stranger I never asked to join, and the one who stays throughout this lifetime. It is my greatest enemy but also my greatest teacher as it's taught me that true healing begins when I decide it's time to stop pretending everything is fine. Speaking in truth will never be done in silence, as it takes several pushes and shoves to finally fight back and take back control. This unwanted stranger isn't easy to kick out as it stays in the back of my mind constantly. I don't need an angel to blind this creature, I am becoming the angel in the dead of night who shines its glorious light against this darkness.

I wrote a short story using a Reedsy prompt. I believe it was something along the lines of: Write a story about a character receiving an item that grants wishes. And the prompt may have included rules about a minimum of wishes, or word count. Often these prompts will also include requirements for a minimum amount of conflict, or a twist of some kind. This was my story for that. I will also include a link to my personal pinterest mood board for the brainstorming process of this story. That way you can see the whole thing that led to my final piece. I think a story itself is always just one piece of a universe being built, here is that universe.
