I become pregnant by a monster. My life has always been rough around the edges but I’ve always survived. This one thing broke me so bad I’m still walking myself back to the woman I was once.

What is a self? This issue is a timeless debate in psychology, and for good reason: how is one to decide something that can not be seen? Well, as humans, we put our fate into things we can not see all the time, but what is a self? In my opinion, it is completely different for everyone. It is a value that is learned and not given. So…what is a self for me? What do I believe in? How do I know this? You’ll see these questions repeated in this essay.
