This pregnancy has been challenging. My grandmother, who raised me, passed away, and I never sought her advice on raising a child in the early days. I never imagined I wanted a child until I took a pregnancy test that revealed I was pregnant. I was in shock and almost in tears. My baby boy is due in June 2025, and I’m close to giving birth. However, as a NF1 patient, all the doctor appointments are stressful. I’m filled with excitement and joy, but I’m also experiencing pregnancy blues. I’ll find my way through this phase.
